Paper presentations for INMARCO-INAvation are aimed to cover various topics on the theme
‘Innovations for Maritime Sustainability’

  • Naval Architecture and Ship Design (Sustainable designs for operation and eventual recycling).

  • Marine Propulsion System (a) Fuels (Alternative fuels, renewable energy, LNG as fuel) (b) Innovative propulsion systems and their comparative analysis for sustainability.

  • Ship Logistics / Supply chain (Changes required to develop a working model for India to become a sustainable successful maritime state).

  • Coastal and Inland Waterways (Seamless operations between RSV/IV and coastal waterways.)

  • Ports (Efforts in sustainability, JIT concept, removing bottle-necks).

  • Offshore Industry (Sustainable offshore industry).

  • Dredging (Solving dredging issues with respect to India to make the country a successful sustainable maritime state).

  • Materials and Technologies (Newer materials and innovations in their usage).

  • Investments in Sustainable Technologies.

  • Regulations and Legislation for Improving Sustainability.

  • Insurance / Legal / Regulatory Bodies (Efforts required by them to improve sustainability).

  • Navy and Coast Guard (Achieving sustainability through safer shipping and cleaner oceans).

Each author would be allowed a maximum of 18 minutes for presentation and 8 minutes for question / answers in each session.

A synopsis of 450 words is required and on acceptance of synopsis, the final paper for evaluation.

Authors will be informed of acceptance of synopsis, and selection of final paper.

Dates for Submission:

  • For receiving synopses -25th July 2014,

  • For informing author of acceptance of synopsis - 4th August 2014,

  • For receiving full papers - 3rd October 2014,

  • For informing author of acceptance of paper - 13th October 2014.
